All property management agreements have a termination notice period, you can terminate a current management agreement contract after the notice period has expired. If you do not wish to call your current agency or communicate with them in any way we will send the appropriate documents to your current property management company on your behalf and make arrangements to collect all your relevant documentation and keys. We will contact the existing tenants during the termination notice period and introduce ourselves and establish any relevant procedures so they are aware of the change in management and understand our process, it is a very smooth transition.
During the notice period the current Property Management agency is bound by the Residential Tenancy Act and regulations and therefore still remain responsible for their actions.
